The 12th convocation of Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal was held on April 13, 2017 in which seventy-nine (79) students of the PGDFM 2015-2017 batch were awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management. Dr. A.N. Jha , Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India &Chairman, IIFM Board of Governors was present on this occasion. The Convocation was attended by Shri Siddhanta Das, Director General of Forests and Special Secretary to Government of India & Vice Chairman, Board of Governors of IIFM, Members of Board of Governors, Director IIFM, faculty members of the Institute and graduating students. A large number of guests also attended the convocation, including the parents of the diploma awardees.
Seventy-Nine (79) students of PGDFM 2015-2017 batch, who fulfilled all the required criteria and qualified for the diploma, were awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management in the 12th Convocation. Out of 79 students of PGDFM 2015-2017 batch, 70 students participated in the 12th Convocation and received the PGDFM diploma in person. Followed by the award of diplomas, the Chairman’s Gold & Silver Medals for obtaining first position and second position respectively were also awarded to the meritorious students of PGDFM 2015-2017 batch for their scholastic performance. The Chairman’s Gold medal for obtaining first position was awarded to Ms. Sivadevi K. and the Chairman’s Silver medal for obtaining second position was awarded to Mr. Ameet Shinge.
