Top Class Education Scheme for SC students

The Institute has been placed under the category of offering courses in “Management” for Central Sector Scholarship for Top Class Education for SC students.   The students belonging to SC category and fulfilling the criteria under the scheme can avail the benefit of the schemes.  The students applying for the scholarship are advised to check their eligibility criteria particularly with respect to the caste ad the income certificate as per the requirements of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India to avoid delays in processing the same.

National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students

The Institute has been placed under the category of offering courses in “Management” for Central Sector Scholarship for Top Class Education for ST students.   The students belonging to ST category and fulfilling the criteria under the scheme can avail the benefit of the schemes.  The students applying for the scholarship are advised to check their eligibility criteria particularly with respect to the caste ad the income certificate as per the requirements of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to avoid delays in processing the same.

Merit cum Mean Based Scholarship

The Institute has been awarding Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to the students of the programme.  The amount of scholarship is Rs.5,000/- per student per month.  The maximum number of scholarships would be 20% of the total students admitted in the programme in an academic year.  The total number of scholarships shall vary each year depending upon the number of students taking admission in the programme.  The benefit of the scholarship to the students belonging to the General Category & NC-OBC category shall be based purely on merit in that category.  The students belonging to the EWS category shall be considered based on Means-cum-Merit basis without any condition of cut-off of the scholarship scheme on merit basis.  The criteria for determination of ‘Means’ will be based on the income limit as fixed by the Govt. of India.  The students of General/SC/ST/NC-OBC/EWS/Minority/DA category who are applying for other scholarships outside Institute shall not be eligible to be considered for Institute’s Merit-cum-Means Scholarship.  The distribution of scholarships shall be as per the reservation policy of Govt.of India for admission to the programme as applicable from time to time.
