Admission Procedure
Selection of candidate is through a two-stage process –
A.) Acceptable Standard Test Scores
Candidates require a standard test score, from any one of the acceptable tests for the area(s) of specialization they are applying to, as shown in the following table will be called directly for an Online/Personal Presentation and Interview.

Note:
- Scores/Certificates of CAT#/GMAT/ ICAR NET/FRI entrance test for PhD should not be older than TWO years
- Certificate not older than FIVE years in relevant area of specialisation UGC-CSIR-JRF/NET
# Required cut off, as decided by IIFM.
Candidates who fulfil the required eligibility, as given in the previous page, and do not have any of the above qualifying tests, but have five years' working experience at executive level post their respective eligible degree will have to qualify the internal Research Aptitude Test (RAT) designed by IIFM. A candidate has to explicitly mention the faculty area in which he/she wants to seek admission to IIFM FPM with a tentative Research proposal of about 5000 words justifying their interest in the selected area.
B.) Presentation and Personal Interview
- Candidates will be called for online presentation and interview as per the criteria decided by IIFM.
- Final selection will be based on criteria as decided from time to time by the Institute.
- Students will be admitted in a specific area of specialization related to the existing faculty area of the Institute.
- A maximum of ten students can be admitted each year in the programme. A candidate will not be permitted to change their selected area once they have opted for one particular area.
