Post Graduate Programme in Forestry Management (PGDFM) of IIFM is the one of its kind in this part of the world that prepares professionals for sustainable management of natural resources. The programme integrates application of management concepts, theoretical frameworks, techniques and tools for sustainable management of natural resources for conservation, ecological balance, and development.
The two year programme spread through five terms of classroom learning, fieldwork, summer-internship and project work enables the students to apply the concepts through immersive experience in real life situations.
The graduates of PGDFM are working in diverse sectors viz. corporates/industries, financial institutions, consulting firms, international organizations, government and non-government organizations, and academic institutions.
