FIELDWORK : [ Two Weeks ]
Sustainability reporting involves environmental data, their collection and analysis. It also provides basis for monitoring and evaluation of sustainable development. There are many important aspects to the collection of environmental data related to each project, approaches, tools and techniques applied will influence the type and strength of statistical inferences. This will help to choose appropriate experimental units, types of data and establishing sampling techniques to increase the efficiency of data collection. This component explains the data type, scale, types of variables, sampling design, data collection techniques, tools and techniques, data analysis and reporting to achieve sustainable development goal. The field work component is designed to equip students to be able to understand environmental data, its collection procedures and analysis.
