The MBA - Forestry Management course comprises a field work component with the following objectives:
• To provide first hand exposure to the functioning of an organization.
• To relate classroom learning concepts and skills with real life management situations.
• To learn through on the job experience.
The field work component is scheduled after Term II in the first year which is of four-week duration. It sensitizes the students to the intricacies of micro-finance, marketing, livelihood, natural resource management, functioning of forest based industries and the developmental issues of the tribal and rural poor
