Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal

The IIFM Library supports users with its wide range of collection of knowledge resources and innovative information services. The IIFM Library is comprised of state-of-the-art technological applications with print and digital holdings. The IIFM Library has developed a total collection of more than 46,192 volumes. The Library is subscribing to 187 print periodicals including newspapers, magazines and foreign journals. The library is providing access to users for over 13,000 online full-text journals and several abstracting databases. The library holds knowledge resources mainly related to forestry, climate change, environment, management and allied subjects. The Library provides information services and access to bibliographic and full text digital resources to support the faculty, students, Research scholars, MDP Participants and fulfils the informational needs of the wider Academic Community. It secured institutional membership of National Digital Library and subscribed to the institutional membership of the Developing Library Network (DELNET), New Delhi and their services used for resource sharing and exchange of information.

 

The Institute is also a member of One Nation One Subscription (ONOS): an initiative of government of India. The users can access these resources anytime from anywhere in the campus using IIFM Network. The library is subscribing to online databases, namely EBSCO – {(i) Business Source Elite and (ii) Environment Complete}, EBSCO–eBook Business Collection, Prowess and Indiastat database for facilitating usage through online access of information.
