Dr. Ashish David has an applied social sciences background that includes a post graduation in Social Work with specialization in Urban and Rural Community Development from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Phd. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Areas of Interest: Human-Wildlife Interface Conflicts, Ecosystem Services Valuation, Management Effectiveness Evaluation of Protected Areas

Courses developed and taught: Ecotourism and Nature Conservation, Social Impact Assessment, Development Theory, History and Policy and Impact Evaluation over a period of eleven years.
