Dr Jigyasa Bisaria is Assistant Professor in Quantitative Techniques and Information Technology Area and Chairperson of the Centre of Geo-informatics for Forestry, Livelihood and Climate Change. Her research interests include applications of Statistics and Data mining techniques in climate change quantification and monitoring and impact assessment of adaptation measures. She is involved in various research and consultancies projects related to monitoring and evaluation of climate adaptations Actions like Climate Smart Agriculture, Sustainable Forestry and Rural Livelihoods. She is a contributor to NATCOMM 2020 and has been a part of review process of IPCC AR6 working group III.
Her past affiliations include Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (Lecturer), NIC(Scientist-C), 3LOQ Hyderabad (Data Scientist), Bharti Airtel Ltd (Project Team Lead NFP automation) etc. She holds a Masters in Statistics (MSc.) and PhD. (Mathematics) from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology in the area of Predictive Data Mining. She is also the recipient of the research fellowship under Women Scientist Scheme (WOS-A) of the Department of Science and Technology.
