Parul Rishi, Ph.D., Psychology, Chairperson, Faculty area of Human Resource Management and Centre for excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility with about 30 years of teaching experience. Area of teaching and Research interests include Organizational Behaviour, Corporate Social Responsibility and Governance, Business Ethics, Emotional Intelligence, Human –Climate Change interface and contemplative practices (mindfulness and spiritual intelligence), behavioural perspectives of environment and sustainability, stress management, motivational issues and Leadership.
Published over 90 papers/book chapters/articles in international/national journals three books i.e., Changing Climate Changing Behaviour-Towards a better future; A guidance document on CSR sand sustainability in Natural Resource and environment sector; and Environmental Issues-Behavioural Insights. Associate Editor- Frontiers in Organizational Psychology(Switzerland) and Editor in Chief of Journal of Organisations & Human Behaviour. Worked on 15 research projects, 10 consulting assignment, supervised 11 PhDs, delivered more than 100 lectures/keynote. Visited 15+ countries on various academic assignments including collaborative projects/ conducting workshops/ chairing sessions /delivering state of art lectures/making conference presentations. Conducted 60+ Management Development programmes for corporate and government sector on various broad themes of leadership and team building, life skills, Soft Skills, stress management, Business Ethics and CSR, community resource management, environment and natural resource management etc. in India and abroad.
Recipient of National Award for contributions in Business Administration by Indian Commerce Association, HS Gaur State Award of Department of Science and Technology, Madhya Pradesh Government for contributions in social and behavioural sciences, Devang Mehta National Award for Management teaching, ISBNPA Fellowship, Australia, ISUH Travel Award, New York and Vancouver, Canada, CIDA Fellowship for attending a conference at University of Toronto, IES HS Gaur Award -2009, Witkin Okonji Award -2008, Germany, ITTO Japan- Fellowship- 2004 Smithsonian Environmental Leadership Course USA and ARTS fellow for attending a course on Environmental Psychology.
